Flavorful Food For Any Occasion

Between The Buns was established in 2021 by Owner & Chef, Allen Fabre, as a burger and sandwich pop-up business. We humbly started by serving creative craft ideas between our homemade signature buns and fresh cut sides. After a couple years of toting a trailer, generators, and a tent, we transitioned to catering and private chef services, turning those craft sandwiches into sliders that headline our catering menu, perfect for tailgates and gatherings. When it’s time for a more intimate setting with friends, family, or that special someone, our private dinners elevate your dining experience with a hand crafted menu suited to your preferences. BTB continued growing by adding weekly meal prep services known as "Gorilla Grub" meals and offering holiday specials like savory king cakes during the Mardi Gras season. We proudly make everything from scratch and put our own touch on each dish to keep our customers satisfied.

Meet Chef Allen Fabre

Growing up in the small bayou town of Lafitte, Louisiana Chef Allen couldn’t help but be attracted to the southern Louisiana cuisine. In Lafitte it’s all about fresh seafood! Everyone had a grandpa, dad, or uncle that was trawling for shrimp, running crab traps, or was some kind of fisherman. A shrimp po’boy dressed on a good New Orleans style French bread is still a top 3 favorite dish of the head chefs. His love and respect for food has continued to grow due to his travels and willingness to venture out and try new cuisines from other cultures. Self taught through research and trial and error, Chef Allen aims to simply serve you a great and flavorful taste whether it’s a homemade cheeseburger, dialing in your diet to help achieve goals, or pulling out the white table cloth and fine china.
